- 3. FUTURE PLANS FOR SUPPORT Our team walked away from this event with some valuable information. We have encouraged DEFENDER Direct to donate the large refrigerators in our home office facility to a food pantry as we were going to be getting rid of them anyway. Our team plans to get involved in future food packing events
- 4. HOW WOULD THE ORGANIZATION BENEFIT FROM WINNING PRIZE MONEY? Kid’s Against Hunger serves so many food challenged children and families in central Indiana and could do even greater good with additional funding. Food pantries around central Indiana have a continuous need to serve those who have occasional food needs or permanent food needs. We also realized that food stamp benefits may be decreasing for some individuals very soon under some regulatory changes and more of those individuals will then be relying on organizations such as Kids Against Hunger and other food pantries to meet their needs.
