2. Recalling Li-Fi..
Li-Fi is a VLC, i.e.., Visible Light Communication.
It can be thought of as a light-based Wi-Fi.
It uses light instead of radio waves to transmit
information.

3. LI-FI Construction
Lifi consists of 5 primary
sub-assemblies:
Printed circuit board
(PCB)
 RF power amplifier (PA)
Bulb
Optics
Enclosure

4. How LED transmits
If LED is on, you transmit a digital 1’s.
If LED is off, you transmit a 0’s.

High security
Easy to use
Fast data transfer
Reliable
Harmless
Low cost

7. Drawbacks
It requires line of sight.
Li-Fi doesn’t works in dark or outdoors.
Unlike Wi-Fi, we cannot move to other
rooms unless there are wired bulbs too.
It can be easily blocked.
No power, No internet.
