Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Susan Jackson
Dear Sir/Madam;
This letter is my personal recommendation for Susan Jackson. I am the General
Manager of Government Contracts and Procurement for Maersk Line, Limited
and am responsible for contract administration and all purchasing activities in
support of six government contracts. I have directly observed Susan’s
performance for the past three years. I found her to be consistently pleasant,
tackling all assignments with dedication and professionalism.
Besides being a joy to work with, Susan is a take-charge person who is able to
present creative ideas and communicate the benefits. She has successfully
developed subcontracting policies and procedures for our company that have
resulted in increased revenue, a significant decrease in purchasing audit
findings, and a reduction in future questioned costs.
Though she has been a tremendous asset to our procurement efforts, Susan was
also extraordinarily helpful in other areas of the company. Susan worked closely
with cross functional departments, engineers, program managers and staff
accountants, inspiring and motivating other employees along the way.
