of Sheffield. The second RRLM workshop on the ‘Role of the Library in the
Research Process’ was held at the University of Leeds on 1 July 2013.

Just like this pussy cat, struggling to get through this gap in the shelving space, and into the open space. There is a gap in eResearch support and a lot that could be done in the open space. Once you’re in the open space, you can see what’s on the shelves, and you can make informed choices, about what to do. What’s on the shelves, the two peaks in the evidence from this report from SCONUL indicate that strategic, communication and relationship management skills are critical and need to come to the fore in research libraries, as well as, data and technology oriented skills, these are important.
