2. In my opinion, the reason can be (probably) the
following:
Failure to write down the goals
Failure to make a plan to achieve those goals
Failure to commit or simply put, lack of
commitment or live up to the commitment.
Failure to make realistic goals or attainable (at
least those goals that seem achievable in the first
go).
3. 1. Identify it:
write down where you want to be or become in
next 1yr.-3 yrs. The person should be extremely
specific as far as possible.
2. Date Your Goal:
One must very clearly write down the begin
date and the end date to achieve the goal. Unless
and until there is a commitment to the start date
and finish date or the deadline, the ability to
achieve the goal is questionable.
Parents all over the world live without ---- sleep, food, going out and other stuff.
Because their true conviction is to give their children the best life possible. You need to
have parental levels of conviction for your goals.
4. 3. Identify and list down the Obstacles which can
hamper your goal:
If the people know what are their obstacles which
may hinder or prevent them from attaining the
goals, then probably the chances of failure are
reduced.
4. List down the names or the people/persons who will
help you in the achievement of goals
5. List down the skills and knowledge which you will
be needing to accomplish the desired goals in the
specified period
5. 6. Develop an ACTION PLAN for each and every goal
The activities should be highly specific and result
oriented. if you want to have massive results, you
need to put massive action. It’s that simple.
7. List down the BENEFITS associated with each goal
It is very important that we must have complete
knowledge about
the BENEFITS/INCENTIVES associated with the
goals. Each goal must answer WHAT'S THERE IN IT
FOR ME?
6. 8. Take stock of the situation every day:
Every day we must take some action, may be small
or little to achieve the desired goal.
The goal achievement is totally up to you. You
own self-determination, your own self-
actualization, your own self-realization, your
own self-motivation make up the 90% of the goal
achievement process.
7. “In my opinion the biggest
secret of goal achievement
is to figure out "the daily
dose."
You need to determine how much you need to do
each day to reach your goal in short steps. An
amount you can measure. An amount you can
achieve.
