4. INTRODUCTIONWhat are Hybrid Cars ?
A hybrid car is one that is powered by both
electricity and gasoline. In essence, hybrids
have two engines. One is fuel powered; the
other is electric. Unlike a purely electric car,
you do not need to plug most hybrids into a
wall outlet to recharge. Hybrids have a built-
in system to recharge while in use. Because
of producing less than 50% of less emissions
of carbon-di-oxide and other harmful gases
it’s now becoming the best innovation of
automobile engineering.

7. AIR POLLUTION IN DHAKA CITY
Dhaka, the country's capital, often finds its place among the most polluted cities in global
indices.
The Department of Environment (DOE), and other related organizations, have identified the
two-stroke engines used in auto rickshaws (baby-taxies), tempos, mini-trucks, and
motorcycles as major polluters.
At present, there are about 65000 baby-taxies among them more than 296,000 motor
vehicles ply in Dhaka City alone. Moreover, overloaded, poorly maintained and very old
trucks and mini-buses are also plying the city streets emitting smokes and gases. In fact
about 90% of the vehicles that ply Dhaka's streets daily are faulty, and emit smoke far
exceeding the prescribed limit. Diesel vehicles emit black smoke, which contain unburned
fine carbon particles.

BANGLADESH
Import of hybrid cars is increasing exponentially
on the back of soaring demand for the fuel-efficient
vehicles from the upper middle-income people,
BRTA said.
The arrival of hybrid cars, mostly used ones, shot
up by 10 times to 1,846 units in fiscal 2017-18 from
a year earlier, according to data from the National
Board of Revenue.
The NBR slashed the supplementary duty (SD) on
the import of hybrid SUVs in varied percentages,
starting from 25 percent and going up to 60
percent. Though the prices of used hybrid cars are
Tk. 2-3lakh more than the reconditioned
conventional engine cars , the market for used
hybrid car is growing fast.

OUR FUEL ECONOMY. BECAUSE HYBRID CARS ARE SOUND FREE,
PRODUCE 35% LESS CO2 AND ALSO SAVE FUEL.
HYBRID CARS ARE EASY TO USE AND VERY WELL BUILT THAN
GASOLINE OR FUEL CARS.
HYBRID CARS PRODUCE LESS CO2 , CONSUME LESS FUEL WITH
THE CAPABILITY OF GIVING SAME OR BETTER PERFORMANCE AS
NORMAL CARS.

15. RESULT OUTCOME
After researching with our topic , we found that 80% people of our city
know about hybrid car and its benefits. Hybrid car is a perfect solution
for air pollution and saving our fuel economy. But driving a hybrid car is
difficult than driving a gasoline car is difficult than a gasoline car and
we don’t have enough well trained mechanics for hybrid car. For these
reason the user of hybrid car is not growing as it needed.so government
should take responsibility for train people for hybrid car . In our country
there is 200% tax for buying a car. Government should reduce the tax
for hybrid car so that it can be in everybody’s reach .

16.  Present automobiles, not only stress on power but also have issues like
durability , performance, fuel emissions which can easily over come by
hybrid cars.
 Air pollution in the city can be reduced by using hybrid cars rather than
using gasoline cars which emits 50% more gas.
 The use of fuel decrease a bit so the demand of fossil fuel remains
balanced.
 Reconditioned gasoline cars importing decreases if new hybrid cars are
importing more
 People can relax buying a hybrid car and can also play a role in saving
the city from global warming
