2. Objective
“When I was a child, I spoke as a child,
I understood as a child,
I though as a child; but when I became a man (adult),
I put away childish things.
I Corinthians 13:11
3. Bring or move forward. Improvement.
Forward movement.
To Advance
In order to reach your potential you need to have a goal, or a
“bigger” picture in mind. There is an accomplishment set in your
mind, and that starts the process-
What do I want to do/achieve? How do I get “there” to that point?
How will this accomplishment change/impact my life?
Pro’s, and Con’s.
4. Concern for others.
Altruism
In my opinion any time you are building you need a “solid” foundation- this applies to
a business, a company, a home, relationships, and etc. If you want it to withstand ,
sustain, and be of “good” quality.
For example-A builder, or carpenter has to be skilled at laying the foundation for a
building, or a home to meet safety standards, and to weather natural disasters that
may come.
When you are working towards building your life, reaching your potential have the
right “foundation”-
Your care for others, respect for yourself, and family.
Honesty, and integrity are all intentions to “build on.”
5. To give knowledge, or spiritual insight.
Enlighten,
or spirit As you reach your potential, and move beyond be open to
giving, and receiving knowledge, insight, and “sound” information
(wisdom) that may be helpful to you.
Books, audio books, personal experience, “school of hard knocks”
(you’ve been there, and done that) are also helpful ways of getting
information.
6. An undertaking. Business organization.
Initiative.
Enterprise
What is your “bigger” picture? Your goal, or accomplishment?
What is your gift, or ministry?
Is reaching your potential about personal reward, or is it your hope
to pay it forward?
Possibly to make things better for your children, community,
church, or the world (the human race)?
7. Soundness. Adherence to a code of values.
Completeness.
Integrity
This goes back to “building” with the right foundation. You
need to have intentions that are good, true, honest, based on
changing things to make something better, and beneficial.
8. Power of knowing, or thinking.
Intellect
Make good, sound, common sense, and wise choices
as you take steps to reach your potential,
and move beyond.
9. Morally, or legally right. Fairness.
Administration of law.
Just/Justice
Actions and intentions that are “above board,”
operating in fairness with integrity, and being fair.
Having good, sound morals, ethics.
Conduct that is in good character is also important as you
reach your potential,
and move beyond.
10. Understanding gained, or experience. Range of
information.
Knowledge
If there is experience, information, knowledge that you need, or something you
are lacking then make an effort to use resources to find out-
How can I get experience in that area, or industry?
Where do I go to get training, education, or certification?
As you reach your potential, and move beyond it is always good to
ask questions, and do “your” research.
11. Accumulated learning. Good sense.
Wisdom
Never stop learning (no matter your age).
Personal experiences can be the best teacher
(Even though some lessons may not always be pleasant, or enjoyable. It is
essential for your personal, or professional growth).
Do not be afraid to seek, and share wisdom with the
“right intentions,” and “sound message.”
Books, audio books, personal experience are helpful ways to get valuable
information.
12. Continue to reach your potential.
Aim high. Then move beyond-
Thank you so much, and be blessed
in all endeavors-
