- PLM 360 is a product centric tool that enables our customers to manage all product related data and processes. Providing a view into all activities relating to the launch, design, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and retirement processes all from within a single solution.
- Customers have gravitated toward this product centric approach with PLM 360. Beginning at the Item and BOM level with implementations, then adopting the supporting processes as the need requires. Most often – Change Management, Supplier Management and Quality Management.
- Customers have expected basic BOM functionality of PLM 360 and as you can see, we have delivered. (brief comment on each)
- Where we begin to distinguish PLM 360 as a differentiator is in the following areas: (brief description of each)
- With the center of the design focused around Items and BOM’s the natural extension of that is change and release management. PLM 360 has a strong feature set that allows for (brief description of each of the following):
- Another extension of the Item and BOM is supplier management. Our customers are keenly aware of security requirements around providing suppliers the ability to provide quotes for their product and PLM 360’s feature set manages that nicely with (brief description of each)
- Quality management is another are of PLM 360 that customers have aligned with this Item and BOM centric approach. Inspections are performed on Items, failures yeild non-conformances, which may issue a CAPA against, which may create a Change Order. Each item tracked, each resulting disposition acted upon, with a full top to bottom traceability from change to the originating inspection or from item and associated quality record.
- With all of these activities related to the product, our customers have asked for different views into the all of the activities related to launching, engineering, manufacturing, or maintaining a product. With this PLM 360 provides (brief description of each) Collecting all of this informaton provides a complete view of all of the activities supporting. This information is continuously referenced throughout connected processes, and easily navigated so that you have a complete view of all activities related to your product.
- With Autodesk PLM 360, we provide the tools our customers need to manage their product, and each supporting process. Item and BOM’s to Change Management, to Supplier Management, and NPI processes. Each solution, available to start or configure at your very first login.
