Delivr is an experienced software house, creating
VR/AR/MR applications for clients from around the
world.
Our company has deep roots in VR, reaching 2012,
when we supported Oculus on Kickstarter and
tested many devices e.g google glass.
Currently we create innovative IT solutions aimed
at optimizing training costs incurred by our clients
(both hardware and software), complex
applications for the industry (including simulators),
interactive product presentations in VR and AR,
spherical films (360) and other types of experiences
focused around new technologies, marketing and
the training industry.
About us
Our Clients
Why VR training?
VR-based training applications have a broad set of
benefits, e.g:
- Increased engagement and focus of training
participants due to limiting external stimuli
- Decreased cost of the training process
- More effective learning, thanks to recruiting more
senses than in a classroom environment
- Faster habit formation thanks to utilizing and
training muscle memory
- The ability to practice processes that are really
dangerous or impossible to reproduce in real life
VR E-learning
Web-based e-learning is enormously popular and
widely used in companies all around the world. VR-
based e-learning is a natural evolution of this concept,
presented in a much more engaging and effective form.
After putting on the VR goggles, the user sees a series
of spherical films (360) in which he can freely look
around, feeling as if he was in the middle of the action
e.g as a sales rep talking with the customer.
The trainee sees a given scenario (e.g angry customer)
and is presented with a choice to react appropriately
to a given situation. If he follows the wrong path, he
can always come back to choose again. Each of the
training programs may include a test at the end.
Statistics gathered during the VR training help to
understand trainees behavior in more depth in
comparison with the classic e-learning.
VR E-learning – how does it work?
To create VR-based e-learning training programs we
use the so-called spherical films (360 video). Using a
special spherical camera, we record the entire space
around the camera (360 degrees).
Our team of filmmakers creates custom film materials
for each client, based on training scenarios developed
with the client during our workshops.
In the second phase of the project, our team of
developers prepares a dedicated VR application, using
the prerecorded footage (360) to create a personalized
training tool tailored to the needs of the client.
Our VR applications work with all VR all-in-one goggles
on the market.
VR E-learning - benefits
Thanks to the use of spherical films (360), the trainee feels
as if he was in the middle of the action, which significantly
increases trainees’ engagement and directly translates into
the effectiveness of training.
After putting on the VR goggles, the trainee is completely
cut off from external stimuli that could distract him and
because of that he can deeply focus on the training
material that is in front of him.
VR is still a new and exciting medium, and the trainees
have more motivation to use it.
We can get valuable statistics from each VR training, such
as the reaction time of the trainee or his or her heatmap
highlighting the areas of focus of their eyes.
Example – Santander VR
VR training for BZWBK (Santander Group) - is
the world's first soft skills training for bank
employees in the form of VR e-learning.
The main task of the trainees was to take the
role of a meeter-greeter, who is responsible
for analyzing the client's needs and guiding
him to the appropriate person in the bank.
Thanks to the training, Santander bank
implemented a new role across Polish
branches in a quick and effective way,
significantly reducing the cost of training
compared to stationary training.

VR training (3D)
VR training based on 3D graphics gives us a
huge range of new, so far impossible to obtain
training opportunities.
We can transfer trainees to any three-
dimensional scenery and design the course of
the entire training from its beginning to the end,
giving trainees the opportunity to fully interact
with the virtual world around them.
3D-based VR training enables trainees to move
freely within the designated training space and
to manually perform the training tasks entrusted
to them.
VR training (3D) - application
3D-based VR technology is great for:
- High cost training (the possibility to greatly reduce
training cost)
- Training scenarios that are rich in procedures
- Training the tasks requiring high manual dexterity (use
of muscle memory)
- Production training, training the operation and
service of expensive machines
- Specialist training, that requires involvement of
expensive equipment (e.g. rental of machines for
training purposes)
- Training that is dangerous to perform in real-life
VR training (3D) – how
does it work?
Thanks to a set of sensors, the user can freely
move around the designated training space,
and every movement of his body will be
transferred to virtual reality.
A set of controllers or sensors recognizing the
hands, allows the user to fully interact with the
virtual world.
VR goggles can be either tethered or wireless,
depending on the individual training needs.
By combining these functionalities, we can
realistically reproduce any training scenario in
virtual reality and train employees in a cheap,
effective and safe way.
Example - VR for the fire brigade training
We have created a VR training for firefighters, in which
participants could carry out a full rescue operation. In
the scenario they had to clear their way to the victim
by putting out a fire in accordance with the
procedures. Thanks to the use of wireless goggles,
users could move freely around the training space.
To increase the realism of the training, we’ve
integrated the physical elements of the environment
with the 3D world, and equipped the trainees with a
fully interactive firefighter nozzle, which we’ve created
for the project from scratch.
In addition, we’ve also used haptic gloves that
transferred the user's hand movements to VR.
For the purposes of the training, we’ve
designed a fire nozzle (end of the fire
hose) and electronics, which were
placed in a 3D printed casing.
The trainees could open or close the
water stream (red lever) or adjust the
width of the water stream (white ring)
thanks to the custom electronics which
we’ve created, connecting this physical
fire nozzle with our VR application.
Example - VR for the fire brigade training
By using 3D graphics, we were able to
recreate the scenario of a rescue operation
in a very realistic way.
Situations of this type cannot be practiced
by firefighters in real conditions because
they are too dangerous.
Using VR technology, we can conduct training
of dangerous processes without creating the
slightest threat. We can also recreate
scenarios that are very difficult or impossible
to reproduce in real conditions.
Example - VR for the fire brigade training
(Click to watch the video)
VR Simulators
VR simulators are a combination of virtual reality
technology and physical hardware, such as:
• motion platforms that accurately reproduce the
movements of the object of simulation
• Controllers, joysticks and control panels with buttons
• Sensors to track user's hand movements
• Other electronic components, including those that are
custom-made
By combining VR technology with physical equipment, we
are able to recreate the working environment of any
machine or vehicle in a hyperrealistic way.
Example – Gantry & Crane
simulator
We had the opportunity to co-create the most modern training
center for port operators - the New Competence Center in
Gdańsk.
The New Competence Centre is a training facility that uses the
latest VR and AR technologies to train port equipment
operators to increase safety and efficiency, and reduce the
number of accidents.
Traditional training required using real gantry cranes, which
usually cost around few milions of euro. Renting a gantry crane of
this type is very expensive and entrusting it to an inexperienced
person for training purposes is a really huge risk.
We created 3 VR stations simulating a total of
5 port machines:
• RTG crane
• STS gantry crane
• Port crane
• Mobile crane
• reachstacker
Thanks to the use of VR technology, combined
with equipment that accurately simulates the
movements of each machine, we have reduced
the average cost of training machine operators
by a large margin, while maintaining full
realism of the training.
(Click to watch the video)
Example – Gantry & Crane simulator
VR Simulator - benefits
- Huge savings compared to traditional training,
which requires the use of real machines / vehicles.
- VR simulations allow trainees to train various
emergency scenarios, like machine failure, which
cannot be trained traditionally due to huge risk
- Possibility of reading and analyzing a number of
training statistics not available in tradiitonal training.
- Compared to screen-based simulators, VR
simulators allow for much more effective training of
employees at a much lower price (much lower cost of
VR goggles compared to screens used in traditional
simulations)

The New Competence Centre is a training facility that uses the latest VR and AR technologies to train port equipment operators to increase safety and efficiency, and reduce the number of accidents. Traditional training required using real gantry cranes, which usually cost around few milions of euro. Renting a gantry crane of this type is very expensive and entrusting it to an inexperienced person for training purposes is a really huge risk.
  • 17. We created 3 VR stations simulating a total of 5 port machines: • RTG crane • STS gantry crane • Port crane • Mobile crane • reachstacker Thanks to the use of VR technology, combined with equipment that accurately simulates the movements of each machine, we have reduced the average cost of training machine operators by a large margin, while maintaining full realism of the training. • 18. VR Simulator - benefits - Huge savings compared to traditional training, which requires the use of real machines / vehicles. - VR simulations allow trainees to train various emergency scenarios, like machine failure, which cannot be trained traditionally due to huge risk - Possibility of reading and analyzing a number of training statistics not available in tradiitonal training. - Compared to screen-based simulators, VR simulators allow for much more effective training of employees at a much lower price (much lower cost of VR goggles compared to screens used in traditional simulations)
