MARKETING REFERS TO ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY A COMPANY
TO PROMOTE THE BUYING OR SELLING OF A PRODUCT OR SERVICE.
MARKETING INCLUDES ADVERTISING, SELLING, AND DELIVERING
PRODUCTS TO CONSUMERS OR OTHER BUSINESSES.
TYPES OF MARKETING
E – MARKETING : Internet marketing is any marketing strategy that takes place online. Also referred
to as online marketing, it encompasses a variety of marketing forms like video advertisements, search
engine marketing and e-mail marketing. It is the opposite of offline marketing, and can also fall under
digital marketing.
OFFLINE MARKETING : Offline marketing, the opposite of online marketing, includes all forms of
marketing that aren’t done on the Internet. Examples of offline marketing are local advertising in
newspapers and on television.
E - MARKETING
E-Marketing (Electronic Marketing) are also known as Internet Marketing, Web Marketing,
Digital Marketing, or Online Marketing. E-marketing is the process of marketing a product or
service using the Internet. Emarkerting not only includes marketing on the Internet, but also
includes marketing done via e-mail and wireless media. It uses a range of technologies to
help connect businesses to their customers.
E-marketing is referred to those strategies and techniques which utilized online ways to
reach target customers. There are millions of Internet users that daily access different
websites using a variety of tools like computers, laptops, tablet and smart or android phone
devices, and the number of internet users are increasing very rapidly.
SCOPE
The Internet era has thrown open a new pathway for today’s
marketing. The Internet has made all traditional modes of
business outdated and generated amazing new possibilities in
business. Online marketing or internet marketing – a
combination of marketing acumen and technology – uses the
Internet as a medium to advertise and sell services and goods.
Online marketing includes affiliate marketing, search engine
marketing including search engine optimization, article
marketing, blog marketing, pay-per-click search engine
advertising, and e-mail marketing.

 These days, it’s so easy to research online about how much a product
really costs and it’s also easy to compare prices. All you have to do is
check a certain product, click the link on related products, and you’ll
already be able to know everything you need to know about the said
product

 When it comes to deciding which products a company has to put out in the
market, research plays a big role. And of course, researching could be
more efficient when one makes use of computers and smart phones
because at least, they could easily get people’s opinions and use graphs
and statistics found online to see which products people actually want—so
they could save more time and effort, and so their products would actually
be used by many

 Of course, being online could also help out a lot in knowing the easiest
routes to deliver products to customers, or which places on a certain city,
town, or country should the products be placed because that’s where most
of the fanbase, or the consumers could be. It could also be a means of
knowing which products to make for various places, because it’s a given
face that people living in different areas have their own likes and dislikes,
so it’s just right that manufacturers cater to their needs and wants. More
so, it’s a sign that marketers should think of ways on how to market certain
products for these different places by adhering to various laws and
regulations – because you can never really generalize when it comes to
marketing

 And finally, digital marketing works best with what else? – The promotion
of products, of course. Aside from the old-school ways of advertising
products on TV, Radio, or via the newspapers, marketers can now make
use of social media platforms to let people know about what’s hip and
happening. They can also hold contests on these social media platforms to
get their potential customers’ attention and make them involved in the
projects.
