journals, Tropical Grasslands (published during 1967–2010
by the Tropical Grassland Society of Australia Inc.) and
Pasturas Tropicales [published during 1979–2007 by the
International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT),
Colombia].
» Features: international, published online only, open access
(no subscription or publication fees), bilingual (English and
Spanish), peer reviewed and guided by a 23-member
Editorial Board.
»From Volume 5 on, all articles are published in both PDFand
eBook for easier readability in mobile devices.
» From Volume 6 on, all articles are licensed under the
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY) International
License. This permits anyone to copy, redistribute, remix,
transmit and adapt the work, provided the original work and
source are appropriately cited.
» During 2013–2017 the Journal was sponsored by grants
from both the Australian Centre for International
Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and the Chinese
Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (CATAS), and
CATAS is the sole sponsor since 2018.
To date Tropical Grasslands-Forrajes Tropicales (TGFT) has
published 198 papers, 115 in special issues (papers
presentedattheXXIIInternationalGrasslandCongress,2013)
and 83 in regular issues.
