Hi there.
This presentation is made by me for a presentation in my university.
If you like my work do download and use please just not try to copy paste the content because if you're learning then learn from your heart.
Have great day!
Yay.... :)
3. Define Agent?
An agent is anything that can be
viewed as perceiving its
environment through sensors and
acting upon that environment
through effectors.
3
4. Example:
A human agent has eyes,
ears, and other organs for
sensors, and hands, legs,
mouth, and other body
parts for effectors.
A robotic agent substitutes
cameras and infrared
range finders for the
sensors and various
motors for the effectors.
5. What is intelligent Agent?
An intelligent agent (IA) is an autonomous entity
which observes and acts upon an environment
and directs its activity towards achieving goals.
Intelligent agents may also learn or use knowledge to
achieve their goals.
5
6. Important things for Intelligent agent
Must Sense,
Must Act,
Must be autonomus ,
Must be rational,

9. Simple reflex agents:
Simple reflex agents act only on the basis of the
current percept, ignoring the rest of the percept
history. The agent function is based on the
condition-action rule: if condition then action.
9
11. Model-based reflex agent:
• Each agent has model, agent check percept
according to its model
• A model-based agent can handle a partially
observable environment.
11
13. Goal based agents:
• Goal-based agents further expand on the
capabilities of the model-based agents, by
using "goal" information.
• Goal information allows the agent a way to
choose among multiple possibilities, selecting
the one which reaches a goal state.
13
17. Learning agents:
Learning has an advantage that it allows the
agents to initially operate in unknown
environments and to become more competent
than its initial knowledge alone might allow.
17
19. Applications of Intelligent Agents:
• Intelligent agents are applied as automated
online assistants
• Use in smart phones in future.
19
20. Capabilities:
• Interact with user in real world
• Find specific information
• Solve problems
• Make Decisions
• Summarize Complex Data
• Perform Repetitive Tasks
• Handling Multiple tasks
• Mobile
20
21. Limitations:
• Security Risk
• Language barriers
• Trust and delegation
• Push aside : human efforts
• Need improvement
