Succession “Losers”: What Happens to Executives Passed Over for the CEO Job?

Overview:
Shareholders pay considerable attention to the choice of executive selected as the new CEO whenever a change in leadership takes place. However, without an inside look at the leading candidates to assume the CEO role, it is difficult for shareholders to tell whether the board has made the correct choice. In this Closer Look, we examine CEO succession events among the largest 100 companies over a ten-year period to determine what happens to the executives who were not selected (i.e., the “succession losers”) and how they perform relative to those who were selected (the “succession winners”).
We ask:
• Are the executives selected for the CEO role really better than those passed over?
• What are the implications for understanding the labor market for executive talent?
• Are differences in performance due to operating conditions or quality of available talent?
• Are boards better at identifying CEO talent than other research generally suggests?

- 1. HƯỚNG DẪN SỬ DỤNG BỘ 15 ĐỀ LUẬT GIAO THÔNG ĐƯỜNG BỘ VIỆT NAM 2013 Bước 1: Đưa đĩa CD vào ổ đĩa máy tính của bạn Bước 2: Click 2 lần chuột trái vào thư mục THI THU LAI XE Bước 3: Click 2 lần chuột trái vào Bước 4: Click chuột trái vào Bước 5: Click chuột trái vào Đề số 1 (Đề thi ô tô hạng B2)
- 2. Bộ đề thi hiển thị ra 30 câu hỏi Dùng phím trái chuột Click vào ý trả lời đúng hoặc dùng phím số gõ vào ý trả lời đúng. Sau khi làm xong câu nào thì dùng phím trái chuột Click vào câu tiếp theo hoặc dùng phím mũi tên xuống để làm câu tiếp theo Phím mũi tên đi xu ngố Phím số
- 3. Sau khi làm xong kích vào ô Kết quả như sau
