3. Add the Game File to Firewall Security
Exception
● Type Firewall in the Search Box on Taskbar.
● Open Allow an app through Windows
Firewall from the Search Results.
● Review the existing list of Firewall exceptions.
If Resident Evil 6 is not listed, click Change
settings | Allow another app.
● Click Add.
4. Add the Game File to Firewall Security

● Manually locate and add the game file.
● Browse and manually locate and add the game
file.
● Click Add | OK.
5. Use Device Manager to Update your
PC Components
● Type Update device drivers
● Expand top node.
● Expand the driver you intend to rollback.
● Right click relevant driver, choose Update
driver software option.
● Select the first option namely Search
automatically for update driver software.
6. Restore Back Old Version of a
Previously Updated Driver
● Open up the Device Manager again.
● Expand the top node.
● Expand sub category, right click the driver you
intend to rollback, choose Properties.
● Click Driver | Roll Back Driver.
7. Remove All Stored Game Data
● Press Windows Key + R keys simultaneously.
● Type Explorer, click OK.
● Locate below directory:
…UserData[Profile]221040Remote
● Delete all files from the above specified folder.
8. Stop wasting your time; let automatic
patch do the task for you!

● Delete all invalid Registry references, incorrect
DLL paths in the Registry.
● Reboot.
