Ted Woods (ProducerTed.com) walks you through the workflow and production process for Season 4 of 'Podcast Movement Sessions', a branded show crafted for the team behind "the world's largest gathering of podcasters": Podcast Movement.
Booking, researching, content gathering, storyboarding, scriptwriting, and content repurposing strategies for creating a compelling scripted audio narrative podcasts.
Through on-site interviews and audio ripped directly from the Podcast Movement stage, co-founders Dan Franks and Jared Easley tasked Producer Ted with the creation of a documentary style show aimed at drawing attention to PM19's "Society, Culture, and Advocacy" track. Over three days, we compiled over 16 hours of source audio which became an eight episode arch featuring conversations with 24 highly decorated podcasters; including: Earlonne Woods and Nigel Poor (co-creators of 'Ear Hustle'), Meredith Stedman and Christina Dana (producers for Tenderfoot TV's 'Up and Vanished', 'Atlanta Monster', and 'Monster: DC Sniper'), and Natalie Jablonski (producer of 'In The Dark').
