Dec 2014 Position: Programmer Analyst/Engineer
· Helped design and code to use Medi-Span’s API to use drug interactions screenings, so clients can have more
current data. Screenings were accomplished by connecting to web services to validate drug interactions and
retrieve screening information that was used by the physicians to better administer pharmaceuticals. The
technology used was RPG connection to Apache servers. The data was formatted in JSON for a standard method
on exchanging data.
· Help redesigned the old version of Medi-Span quarterly update to daily/weekly update, so clients can
have more frequent updates. This was accomplished using RPG and JSON.
· Use RPGILE, embedded SQL, external stored procedure, SQL procedures, ILE procedures, and ILE
modules, and java in domain framework.
· I participated in a self-guided JAVA class. I was able to apply this knowledge by developing in
the new technology stack design in JAVA.

invoices, automated the process of printing sales tax returns, delinquent notices, assessments. Designed a
system to eliminate paper, file systems and individuals excel spreadsheets into a centralized location to
help reduce workflow process and decrease key punch timing,
· Designed and lead team in creating an emergency phone call system used for
Terrebonne’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness to allow call takers to key in
emergency calls, specific area of parish government, and allow viewing of these calls by management and
allow them to key in the action taken. This emergency phone call system played a very important role for
the parish to make sure all high priorities were taken care in emergencies.

end user with their jobs.
