Tendai is a graduate of the University of Zimbabwe and have a Bachelor of Arts General degree in English Language and Psychology. She has a total of 10 years work experience of which 6 years were spent as an Advanced level teacher, teaching English Literature and as Head of English department in Zimbabwe. She was also working with the Ministry of Education and Culture in Zimbabwe. Tendai also worked as a Special Education teacher, teaching children with special needs as well as counselling the children and the parents.
