• Provide engineering input and participate in incident investigations that relate to pressure
equipment,
• Inspection scopes with team members to optimize work planning resources and for
inspections to provide input into shutdown planning.
• Provide maintenance recommendations and activity support, prepare of repair work scopes
for static equipment and piping are fit-for-purpose and in line with expected standards
including weld procedures and associated inspection plans.
•Recommendation of repair procedures including, welding procedures, alternate materials
selection etc.,
• Based on equipment strategy and Risk criteria and as per RBI requirements establish
inspection plans / work packs for static equipments like pressure vessels / boilers, furnace
exchangers, condensers, columns, piping & Storage tanks as per API / company standards
for on stream & shut down inspections activities.
• Identification of corrosion mechanisms and determining inspection frequency methods/
monitoring of equipment / piping conditions and facilitate to carry out fitness for service
assessment.

• Preparing piping corrosion loops and monitoring of Process Piping systems. Determine rate
of Corrosion - remaining life assessment in accordance with API 570 & standards.
• Check joint fit-ups, weld preparation, distortion control, visual and NDE inspection.
Supervises and co-ordinates contracted NDT team whenever required.
• Prepares preliminary reports on inspections and NDT tests, highlighting any abnormalities
and issue recommendations via supervisor for action by relevant departments.
• Ensures proper maintenance of inspection reports and records. Maintains various records in
the computerized systems and updating inspection test results and other data in specialized
inspection software system (Meridium).
• Responsible for the support of Company safety, environment and Quality policies and
programs, carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to his job as spelled out in
Management system documentation, policies, procedures, local documentation, Management
System Manual, Safety Manual and other related documents.

Engineer to fulfil annual targets and special tasks.

tracking the progress till completion of work.

renewal of corrosion coupons and probes.

• Initial inspection, During & Final inspection carried out for Sea water intake, above ground &
underground pipe line, CUI inspection for vessels and piping of Turnaround.
• Selection / Approval / Recommend of coating material for application.

• Inspection for sacrificial anode consumption at initial inspection, Recommend replace anode
locations, after anode installation conductive test carried out for intake location & and above

Mapping, Rectification of affected Cathode rebar in Impressed Current system, installation of
metal oxide.
• Witness to Blasting & Painting inspection for each coat of structural steel, field joints of
pipeline and concrete substrate / in-service coating application of piping, touch up internal
coating application in pressure vessel, tanks, Thermal power plants, waste water treatment
and sea water intake and out fall and its pipeline.
• Vendor Inspection carried out for various coating system, Thermal & Acoustic Insulation &
Fire proofing activities.

• Internal coating of application of Belzona for local damage area of the valves / vessels , &
