Lucia wine are handcrafted by the Pisoni Family from vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands. The focus is on site-specific, unique bottlings of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. To illustrate a commitment to farming and pay homage to the vineyards, each wine label is designed with the vineyard site in mind.

3. With generations of farming history in Monterey County and a
commitment to making exceptional wines, the Pisoni family
handcrafts Lucia wines from the Pisoni, Garys’ and Soberanes
vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands.

5. The Santa Lucia Highlands appellation runs through
the rugged soils at the base of one of California’s
coastal mountain ranges. Cold breezes and daily fog
define this region as a cold-climate viticultural area.
Small blocks of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah are
nestled in and around the mountainous landscape.

6. The goal of the Pisoni family is to craft wines of distinct
character and identity, wines that display a
combination of power and elegance that echo their
origins. Three special vineyard sites throughout the
appellation offer their gifts.

This cuvée is a pure
representation of the Santa
Lucia Highlands. The
harvests of all three
vineyards are blended,
combining elements from
each to form a cuvée that is
distinctly Santa Lucia
Highlands—at the quality of
a single-vineyard wine.

9. S O B E R A N E S
V I N E Y A R D
With closely spaced vines
planted in 2006 in a
particularly rocky spot along
the appellation, the
Soberanes Vineyard is home
to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay
and Syrah. All three varietals
produced here display the
inherent characteristics of this
vineyard: floral tones and
minerality with firm acidity.

V I N E Y A R D
This vineyard is named after
the “Two Garys’” (Pisoni &
Franscioni), who
collaborated in planting this
vineyard in 1996. The classic
sandy loam soils produce
spice- and fruit-focused
wines with exceptional
purity. Here we grow Pinot
Noir and Syrah.

13. S U S A N ' S H I L L
V I N E Y A R D
Nestled on top of one of
the highest ridges in the
Santa Lucia Highlands,
this is the sole block at
Pisoni Vineyards planted to
Syrah. The block was
selected particularly for its
shallow, predominantly
granite soil with veins of
quartz. These conditions
stress the vines and
produce firmly structured,
intense and age-worthy
Syrah.
