2. MARKET WRAP
Sensex raised 0.45% @ 18,793.36 pts; Nifty dropped 0.50% @ 5,704.60 pts.
NASDAQ was down 0.76 %, Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.19%.
France’s CAC raised 0.1%, Germany’sDAX & Britain’sFTSE fell 0.22%-0.41%.
Sensex raiesd 84.38 pts @18,793.36 while Nifty raised 28.60 pts @ 5704.60. It was
largly a volatile session for the market on Tuesday, supported by banks, FMCG, steel,
pharma. But the bouts of profit booking due to Eurozone concerns & worries over fiscal
deficit sent the index, in the second half of trade, closer to previous day’s closing value.
