2. MARKET WRAP
Sensex fell 0.86% @ 18,631.10 pts; Nifty dropped 0.92 % @ 5,652.15 pts.
NASDAQ was down 1.52 %, Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.81%.
France’s CAC , Germany’s DAX & Britain’s FTSE dropped 0.32 % - 0.43 %.
Sensex fell 162.26 pts @18,631.10 while Nifty dropped 52.45 pts @ 5652.15, weighed
down by banks, technology, infrastructure and metals stocks. Market dropped due to the
wake of downgrade warning by rating agency S&P and profit booking. Weak global
economic growth & concerns over ongoing Eurozone crisis also added fuel to the fire.
