2. MARKET WRAP
Sensex dropped 0.04% @ 19,317.01 pts; Nifty dropped 0.03%@ 5,580.30 pts.
European major indices FTSE, DAX & CAC were up from 0.73% to 1.31%;
NASDAQ was down 1.04% and Dow Jones Industrial Ave. was down 0.34%.
Sensex fell 8.35@19,317.01; Nifty fell 1.95pts@5,850.30. Market fell but closed flat,
marking a second straight day of losses, led by declines in HDFC after Goldman Sachs
downgraded the stock to "sell" from "neutral", while ITC fell on fears of a hike in excise
duty in the upcoming federal budget. HUL topped the list of losers, shedding 2.6 percent.
