It is my great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Therese Hoeritzauer. I have had the
pleasure of viewing Ms. Hoeritzauer’s professional development over the past six months, and I can state
with confidence that she is a motivated and responsible person with a high degree of integrity. As such, I
expect that she will be a very positive addition to your institution.
As the current President of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), I feel that I
know Ms. Hoeritzauer quite well. In her role as Executive Assistant to the President, she had a considerable
amount of responsibilities, and she handled them with efficiency and dedication. She demonstrated her
communication skills with EADV Board Members, Executive Committee Members and staff so that she
became an effective part of our team.
Ms. Hoeritzauer shows initiative when managing difficult and sensitive situations and is able to devise
solutions. Her role requires strong communication skills, and she has shown that she not only has these
skills, but that she also has the ability to inspire respect and cooperation in teammates.
Ms. Hoeritzauer has informed me that she hopes to pursue a career in primary school teaching, and I feel
that this is an appropriate choice for her (Although I sincerely regret that she will no longer be working for
the EADV!). Based on my observation, she has the skills required to succeed in this field. I therefore highly
recommend her.
