Thomas Grevedon performed his traineeship in the Marketing Department of Machine Point
Consultants from the 23rd
of October 2012 until the 30th
of April 2013 on a full-time basis.
Machine Point is a trading company for used industrial equipment in the plastics and beverages
sectors. It is located in the “Parque Tecnológico” in Boecillo, close to Valladolid (Spain).
During this period he was mainly in charge of the French speaking markets, with the aim of increasing
MachinePoint´s clients’ customer portfolio.
Within this project he developed various tasks such as the following:
• Telemarketing with potential clients in order to generate business opportunities for the sales
department (machines for sale or machines on demand).
• Segmentation and development of the customer database.
• Market research about automotive industry.
• Customer service.
Thomas has also participated in other marketing projects:
• Translating articles in French for MachinePoint’s website or for catalogues.
• Developing communication material: making and uploading videos on YouTube.
Thomas has performed a very good job at our company. He has integrated very well in our company
and team. He has a very much appreciated can do attitude, and he follows instructions precisely and
happily. He is very polite and considered to other people opinions and ideas. He is hard worker and
has a lot of self-motivation, reaching deadlines when needed.
It has been a pleasure having him in our team and we wish him all the best for his future career.
