12. Tom Hutt
MARKETING DIRECTOR
Tom Hutt is a well-travelled creative director, marketing expert, awarding-winning content producer, culture
and brand strategist.
He has more than a decade of global experience in senior leading roles spanning diverse industries and
disciplines, including fashion & music, retail & e-commerce, digital & social, advertising & media, brand
partnerships & PR working on both agency and client side.
Tom has been directly responsible for taking high profile brands to international fame and profit.
Proud snapshot examples include: AllSaints - £75 million website and audience growth to 500,000 mailing
list pre-social as creator of AllSaints Basement Sessions; The Kooples - over £450 million in revenue and
building socials to over one million IG followers in three years using the latest in innovation, contemporary
strategic marketing techniques and inventive creative direction throughout.
At AllSaints Tom also achieved the first ever million YouTube views for a piece of fashion brand music
content with zero marketing spend with Foster the People.
Winner of the London fashion film best branded content for "A Brave New Love” and multiple nominations
for Emily Ratajkowski “The Breakup” written and directed by Tom.
Tom has worked successfully with many leading brands, agencies, artists, celebrities, partners as well as
many well-known publications around the globe.
Tom has a son called Bodhi with his wife Jessamy. Tom holds multi disciplined water sport instructors
credentials, studies MMA, Boxing & BJJ, is a self confessed music geek and late night DJ.

13. Claire is a highly experienced designer and creative director with over a decade’s experience at premium,
global brands. She has experience as a senior consultant and design director, at both brand and supplier
side, as well as in in-house design roles.
At AllSaints, Claire was crucial in redefining the brand’s iconography through its product and styling, notably
specialising in leather and denim. The Biker Project and Biker Portrait Series became instantly synonymous
with the brand. The Balfern Biker and Cargo Biker are still best-selling pieces over five years later.
At Reiss, her in-depth knowledge of leather skins, the market, and close relationships internationally with
tanneries and manufacturers, grew the leather and shearling into a successful, profitable part of the
business. The Tallis, Geo and Allie jackets are still the brands best sellers.
Claire is an expert in denim design, with extensive fabric, wash and fit knowledge. She works with the
world’s leading denim mills and suppliers and has strong awareness of the current market to deliver
commercial ranges including branding and messaging.
As a consultant, Claire has worked cross-category, directing seasonal collections with a clear brand
message. Highly product focused, combining creativity with commerciality, she has a keen interest in the
consumers’ needs and lifestyle, and is involved closely with merchandising on range planning and price
architecture to design cohesive, relevant, collections for brands.
Claire is connected to a global network of designers with a variety of specialist skill sets.
Claire lives in London amongst family and friends. She is passionate about art and design, food and fitness,
and loves to escape the city for the mountains or the sea.
Claire Staines
CREATIVE DIRECTOR

14. Charlie is an experienced commercial director with a proven track record of building companies
across multiple sectors including fashion, ecommerce and technology.
With a background in venture capital, leading rounds of investment, fundraising and due diligence,
Charlie provides CANVAS clients and Studio Brands with strategic and management advice always
with a focus on sustainable growth. Charlie works on the formation of brands’ teams, processes, and
corporate structures necessary to build their organisations, while assisting with the development of
supply chains - from product to logistics.
Having worked in LA, Paris, Stockholm and Hong Kong, Charlie keeps as much of an eye on the
future as the here-and-now, working to ensure that brands are continually identifying key areas for
growth in line with their objectives - be it organically, through strategic partnerships, new business
channels or external funding, while promoting best business practices.
A holder of an MBA in International Business from the European Business School in London and
EDHEC in Nice, Charlie acts in an advisory capacity to a number of fashion and luxury companies in
the UK and Europe.
Having previously worked for Gordon Ramsay, Charlie takes his food and wine very seriously, and
contributes to a number of magazines as a food and travel writer. He’s also a big runner, mostly
ultras, and managed a top 150 place in the Marathon des Sables in 2019.

An experienced commercial director with a proven track record of building companies

companies with a focus on sustainable growth.
With as much of an eye on the future as the here-and-now, working to ensure that brands
are continually identifying key areas for growth in line with their objectives - be it
organically, through strategic partnerships, new business channels or external funding,
while promoting best business practices.
Works on the formation of brands’ teams, processes, and corporate structures necessary to
build their organisations, while assisting with the development of supply chains - from
product construction to logistics.
A career that began in equity derivatives sale trading, has now worked all over the world.
Holder of an MBA in International Business from the European Business School in London
and EDHEC in Nice. Acts in an advisory capacity to a number of fashion and luxury
companies in the UK and Europe.

Charlie Tee
COMMERCIAL AND STRATEGIC DIRECTOR

15. Katy is a driven and highly organised product merchandiser, development and production manager,
with extensive knowledge of the womenswear, menswear and childrenswear markets.
Katy has spent over 15 years working within a variety of retail environments and building an
extensive network of manufacturers worldwide. Katy has strong relationships with a large network of
suppliers in both Europe and the Far East across all product categories.
Starting her career working on the supplier side of manufacturing, Katy was able to gain invaluable
knowledge of the business and how to get the best from it. She has since worked for e-commerce
giants Zalando as well as established brands such as Tommy Hilfiger.
Katy combines a strong commercial understanding with a passion for product. With a keen eye for
detail she consistently produces product that delivers on both price and margin without compromising
on quality and craftsmanship. She has strong analytical skills and enjoys working closely with design
to build a collection.
Having spent years living in London, Katy now lives in Amsterdam following a couple of years in
Berlin. She loves to travel and in her downtime she is an avid fan of cross stitch, selling patterns and
creating pieces that embody her love of music.

Manufacturing and Production
We have built solid relationships with the finest mills and manufacturers
worldwide, enabling efficient and smooth-running supply chains for high quality
production. We partner only with those who share our core values and are
constantly seeking better, more sustainable ways of working. Working alongside
design to create product that will deliver on both price and margin but won’t
compromise on style or brand responsibility. Our strong and personable
communication and negotiation style ensure the critical path is followed and
maintained and prices are optimised.
Financial
We support and assist brands with the strategic acquisition of capital, financial
relationships, and use of funds deployment. We can help to negotiate terms with
our network of factories and mills, as well as advising on factoring arrangements.
Structure
We work with our clients’ brands as if they were our own, building their
organisations, developing strategic alliances, and instilling best business
practices through promoting sustainability and responsible corporate
governance.
