This drawing is sponsored and administered by Thomson Reuters (Scientific) LLC (“Sponsor”).
This Thomson Reuters Evaluation Challenge (“the promotion”) is intended for the United States. Do not proceed
unless you are located in the United States. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to
and acceptance of these Official Rules. Any issues concerning the validity, interpretation or enforceability of these
Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed and
evaluated in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware.
The promotion entry period begins at 8:00 A.M. ET on November 23, 2015 and ends at 11:00 P.M. ET on November
26, 2015.
Who can enter
This drawing is open to residents of the United States 18 years of age or older. Void where prohibited. This drawing is
not open to employees of Sponsor or its affiliates or members of their immediate family and persons living in the
same household as such employees. In these rules, “immediate family” means parents, children, siblings and
spouse, regardless of where they reside.
How to enter
You may enter the promotion by following @InCites_TR on Twitter and then submitting an answer to the daily
research question by replying directly to the comment and/or using the promotion hashtag #EvalChal.
There is a limit of one entry per person per day. All answers will be entered into a random drawing to award the
prizes.
Prize
The following prizes will be awarded.
1. Hero GoPro--Valued at $129.99
2. Fitbit Flex—Valued at $99.95
3. Apple TV—Valued at $69.00
The prizes are non-transferable/non-saleable. No substitution or cash redemption of the prize is permitted, except by
Sponsor due to prize unavailability at time of award. Reporting and payment of all federal, state, local or other
applicable taxes and other expenses in connection with prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Selection of winners
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The drawing will take place on or about November 27. All
decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all matters related to the drawing. The odds of winning will be
determined by the number of eligible entries received. The prize will be issued in the winner’s name. No person may
win more than one prize.
Potential winners will be notified via a Twitter direct message and will be required to reply with a valid email address
within 48 hours of notification. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected or
unsuccessful efforts to notify winners. By accepting and/or using the prize, each winner agrees to the use of his/her
first and last name, place of residence, voice, and/or likeness, as well as any quotation the winner is willing to
provide, for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion, including online announcements, without further
compensation, unless prohibited by law. If a selected potential winner cannot be contacted by e-mail, is ineligible, or
fails to comply with any of the requirements, fails to respond to prize notification within 10 days of issuance of
notification or fails to timely return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may
be forfeited and either an alternate potential winner will be selected through another random drawing or the prize
amount will be donated to the charity of Sponsor’s choice. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry,
the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account at the time of entry.
2. Conditions
By entering, each participant, without limitation, agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of
Sponsor, which shall be final. Entrants agree to release and hold Sponsor and the employees, officers, directors,
shareholders, successors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, licensees,
subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, judging or fulfillment agencies, current clients and legal advisors harmless from
any and all injuries, losses, damages, liabilities, claims, and actions of any kind arising in connection with the drawing
or resulting from the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death
and property damage, and claims based upon publicity rights, defamation, privacy rights or invasion of privacy.
If for any reason this drawing is not capable of running as planned, or if infection by a computer virus, bug, tampering,
hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor
corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of this drawing, Sponsor reserves the
right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant or to modify, terminate, cancel or suspend, in whole or in part, the
drawing. Sponsor does not charge for connecting to surveys. Any participants who pay for Internet access will be
responsible for paying for connect time at their appropriate rates.
