Kristin received her Master’s degree in Biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She was trained as a scientist in cell culture, and has been in the biotechnology industry for 17 years, in various areas of discovery, in addition to production and manufacturing. Kristin joined Genzyme where she worked in the areas of protein technology development and manufacturing of biological drugs. Kristin then moved onto ViaCell, where she focused on the transfer of stem cell research into ViaCell’s first GMP facility.
