Workspace is a line of subscription services designed to help you achieve more
with innovative online Google apps and intelligent cloud services.
Google offer their own equivalents to the likes of Microsoft Word, Excel &
PowerPoint known as; Docs, Sheets & Slides, but it is a whole lot more than just
that. It includes a host of services which can assist with:
-Productivity
-Time management
-Team collaboration
-Document storing, accessing & sharing
-External communications
-Device management
-And so much more!

3. So what is G-Suite?
• Google Workspace is G-Suite
• Google’s suite of apps went through a rebrand in October 2020.
• What was formerly G-Suite is now Google Workspace

4. Google Workspace for everyone
• Google Workspace is now available to anyone that has a Google account for free.
• Not hugely different to what was available before, but all part of a rebrand to hone
everything together under one headline.

9. Creating a Google account
Creating an account is quick and easy.
Head to google.co.uk, click “Sign in”
and choose the option to “Create
account”.

10. Your Google Workspace “hub”
• www.google.co.uk or www.google.com is your hub
for Workspace and access to all the apps and tools
that you would need.

• Google Workspace free includes 15GB of storage
• Google Workspace paid starts at 30GB of storage up to
unlimited storage space depending on subscription

14. What can you do with Google Drive?
Google Drive can be optimized as an individual owned private storage
space, or a shared space for multiple users to access, upload and
collaborate. Depending on your subscription level, Drive allows for the
following:
• Minimum of 15GB storage space which can be increased to unlimited
storage space depending on subscription level.
• Individual file sizes up to 1TB
• Co-authoring (simultaneous editing)
• Version history
• File sharing (both internal and external)
• Mobile device access
• Local syncing of files to your devices
