6. About Tim Readwin
Tim has worked with energy management and building
services engineering since 1989 both in Australia, Sweden
and the UK. He is the founder and principal consultant at
Readwin Consulting.
A Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of
Melbourne, Tim is experienced in energy efficiency in new
and existing buildings and has specialist knowledge of
Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) projects.
Business experience:
• Consulting Manager at world leading firm specialising in district cooling.
• Project Manager delivering EPC projects through sales, analysis, implementation and
follow-up.
• Energy Management Consultant including project management, energy auditing,
building services design, investigative analysis, due diligence, maintenance specs,
product development, presentations and workshops.
• Design Engineer undertaking air conditioning, fire protection and fume cupboard
design.

Passionate about environmental
conservation and sustainable design, Tim
has a track record of delivering
successful and cost-effective energy
savings projects.
Tim’s work has taken him from the temperate climate of southeast Australia
to the tropical Northern Territory, the UK and the extreme cold of Lappland in
the far north of Sweden.
He has worked in a large range of facilities including office buildings,
hospitals, universities, schools, libraries, museums, factories, indoor pools and
retirement homes.
