How Did You Attract/Address Your Audience?

The aim of our opening 2minutes was to draw the viewers in by leaving them
wondering what’s going to happen. We aimed to shock our audience and intrigue
them with the strangeness of the music in association with the unexplained
murders in the film in addition to the murderer being a little girl who primarily
everyone thought was a good girl and couldn’t possibly be the villain in the film.
From watching other thrillers such as secret window and the butterfly effect I
understood that a good thriller kept the audience guessing and interested in the
plot/why its happening.
