Hyper-Competitiion - as employers laid off record number of employees they have created the next wave of new competitors as the unemployed become the self-employed. And they are competing on price. 2. Focus on the Environment - Environmental issues have dramatically changed from conserving precious natural resources into creating a sustainable environment. 3. Over 50 Crowd - The \’Baby Boomers\’ have grown up. Our economy will be driven by the aging population. This population lost a significant part of their retirement in the economic downturn. 4. Women - 75% of all professional are women. 80% of the jobs lost in America were lost by men. The changes in men\’s and women\’s role in work, family, and society are rapidly reversing. All these changes create tremendous opportunities. Every organization has the power and the talent when unleashed, will result in dramatic change.
