The document appears to be a presentation given by an intern summarizing their summer internship experience at Verizon Wireless. It discusses projects the intern worked on including automating an RF network form, migrating network data to a new tool, and conducting a network audit. The presentation highlights how the intern was able to help optimize processes and improve network compliance through their contributions.

RF Design Team Self Audit
My role in the audit was to collect supporting documentation for a set
of sites in the MIK region to ensure that they were operating in
compliance.
Being part of the audit, I was able to contribute to the following results:
• A decrease in 55 errors – a 44% improvement
– Taking into account the several changes in the office over the year,
this was a great accomplishment
• A draft template of how future closeouts should be delivered
In preparation for next year’s audit, the team is in good standing to continue
decreasing the amount of errors. Some challenges to meet next year’s goal
may be due to the data migration from GeoPlan to Atoll.

Siterra Migration & Data Integrity
With the shift to a new database and task management tool, I worked with the
team’s capacity engineer to oversee the migration of data from our capacity
planning tool to Siterra and ensure data integrity throughout the process.
8
Data Sorting
•Filter sites by:
•Build year
•Carrier add type
•Assign grouping to
updated sites
Data Integrity
•Perform bulk upload
for a subset of sites
•Utilize Siterra
reporting to validate
data
•When validation is
confirmed, finalize
bulk upload of 1,752
sites
Accurate Reporting
•With accurate data,
Siterra can now be
utilized better for:
•Reporting
•Planning
•Cross-functional
communication
•The team can now
take the next steps in
the migration process

RF CIQ Automation
The creation of the RF CIQ form was given to me to transition back to the RF
Design team. To ease the transition and additional workload of the engineers,
I developed a tool that would automate the process.
The tools allows for the following functionality and productivity:
• Produces CIQs for any cell site designed with 700, AWS, and PCS
• Reduces an engineers workload by 6.5 hours a month
Limitations to the tool, which are listed below, can be improved in future revisions:
• Compatible only with the SDCO v4.11
• Reads a 700 carrier and up to two AWS and PCS carriers
• Includes the ability to read one double block of AWS and PCS
• Utilizes fixed parameters on the SDCO and RF CIQ template for locating data

Bigness is not
our strength,
best is our
strength.
• Markets operate differently,
which allows them to
accomplish their goals in a
way that works for them.
• Many markets experience
the same challenges:
– Cross-Team Data
Integrity/Communication
– Budget Spending
Our industry is
continuously
changing and
evolving.
• Additional spectrum and
technologies affect the way
we plan and operate:
– Plumbing designs and
equipment configurations
– Engineering Application
• Staying educated on new
technologies is key to stay
competitive.
We work 24x7
because our
customers
depend on us
24x7.
• Though times may be
challenging, we have to
remember our purpose.
• The hardest part of being
the best is staying the best.

• The first range defined is the variable ‘ServicesOnSite’, which is outlined in the
picture above.
• The program relates the text found in the ‘Band’ column to its respective number
in the ‘Service’ column.
• It is found in the ‘Site Info’ tab of the SDCO template. The range used for
ServicesOnSite is set to T4:U13, which is indicated in the outlined section.

the site, which is specified by the range U16:U32
• ‘EqType’ refers to the field titled ‘Type’ that is used to find the field “RRH” to link
the service to the correct row, which is specified by the range V16:V32
• ‘EqModel’ refers to the field titled ‘Model’ that gives the model number of the radio
equipment for the carrier, which is specified by the range X16:X32
• It is found in the ‘Site Info’ tab of the SDCO template.
