It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Travis Siebenhaar. I have had the
pleasure of viewing Mr. Siebenhaar’s professional development over the past 3 months, and I
can state with confidence that he is a motivated and responsible person with a high degree of
integrity. As such, I expect that he will be a great addition to any team.
As an instructor at Dev Bootcamp, I get to know my students well. I have been able to witness
Travis’ growth as a developer in a short period of time. We teach students of varying experience
levels at DBC, and despite having no coding experience, Travis was able to keep up with the
curriculum in a fast-paced environment and helped others do so as well.
As a final project, Travis worked on a team of 5 students to develop a web application that helps
users plan hikes as their final project. He has strong communication skills and is able to work
with people of varying skill levels, as was evidenced by his contributions to his team’s final
project.
I really enjoyed working with Travis, he clearly has the interest to excel in this field. The highest
compliment I can give a developer of any skill level is “I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them
again,” and that’s how I feel about Travis. His kindness, ability to work on a team, and work ethic
will make him a great asset.
