Managing all store operations, including and or involving:

 Human Resources: payroll, employee relations issues, hiring, terminations, promotions
and demotions. Planning, communicating, executing, motivating.
 Conducting training classes for Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and Shift

to Fortune 500. CVS sells prescription drugs and a wide assortment of general merchandise, including
over-the-counter drugs, beauty products and cosmetics, film and photo finishing services, seasonal
merchandise, greeting cards, and convenience foods.
District Manager (2010 -2013)
Provide oversight for 21 store managers and 21 pharmacy managers, supervisors and assistant
managers. Responsible for performance of combined front store/pharmacy sales of $134.5M with gross
margin of 32.52% and expenses of 2.38% of sales. Interface and positively collaborate with area vice
president, regional sales manager, HR business partner, employee relations, store set-up manager,
facilities manager, VP of store operations, legal department, federal, state and local regulatory agencies,
and loss prevention manager.
Achievements:
 Exceeded total store sales by 2.41% and gross margin by 1.32%.
 Outperformed expense budget by .50%
 Piloted bi-weekly delivery program specific to low volume stores; maintained current in-stock
percentages and increase productivity in the store.
 Achieved ranking of number one district in the region for email collection on the email program
launch; exceeded target by 2%.
 Led the area in the rollout of Extra Care scan rate.
 Piloted a new inventory management program which will soon be expanded throughout the
company; during pilot increased front store in-stock by 2.5%, decreased inventory levels by 1.34%
and increased service by 3%.
Emerging Leader Manager (2009 – 2010)
Supervised store and pharmacy managers, pharmacy supervisor and assistant managers and interacted
with company personnel, contractors and vendors.
Achievements:
 Conducted root cause analysis and developed an action plan to correct the underperformance of
the automated checkouts within the region.
 Developed a more effective and efficient process for store managers to reconcile invoices in the
district; later rolled out to the region.
 Assisted in reduction of district shrinkage by 1.5%.
