Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) are partnering to
improve public awareness for National Flood Safety Awareness Week,
March 18-22, 2013.

individuals, families, businesses and communities. Knowledge and the
right precautions can protect families, homes and finances.

3. NOAA’s flood safety slogan is “Turn Around Don’t Drown” (TADD). Each
year, more deaths occur due to flooding than from any other severe
weather related hazard.
