StarUML
•Implementation of horizontal relationship between the different RE model frameworks such
as the KAOS, NFR framework, i* framework, IDEF0, BPMN, etc.
•Implementation of vertical relationship between the different RE levels such as Business
Process, Business Goals, Business Operationalization, System Goals, System
Operationalization.
•Since, StarUML has few limitations which requires to achieve all the modeling through
complete coding, unless we use other techniques like the PAPYRUS plug-in on EMF framework
which provides more flexibility in mapping and modeling.
Next Steps
•Establish the dependency/associations between the Problem and the Goals. For eg.
Dependency between Business Goal Problem and Business Goal and so on.
•Follow same method to implement remaining of the mapping.
•Learn about PAPYRUS and EMF framework.
