13. The Centre:
• Is a knowledge hub for cutting edge
development research, policy dialogue,
publications and knowledge sharing
• Builds bridges between Korea, new
development partners and developing nations
and contributes to building capacity in developing
countries.
• Facilitates policy dialogue for results
14. 5 tracks:
• sharing knowledge on the Korean development
experience;
• undertaking cutting edge research with partners;
• facilitating and contributing to policy dialogue;
• engaging in advocacy and supporting
partnerships for development; and
• positioning the Centre as a hub for knowledge
sharing.
All areas contribute to enhancing the capacities of
developing countries and partners inside and outside
of the Republic of Korea.
15. The Centre:
• Engages in cutting edge research and policy
dialogue on:
- Development challenges in middle income
countries
- New global development partnerships, particularly
new and emerging donor countries.
16. Sharing knowledge
• facilitates exchanges between Korean and
foreign development practitioners, policy makers
and experts and supports knowledge networks;
• responds to queries from governments and
UNDP country offices on specific aspects of
Korea’s development experience for policy
discussions;
• Maintains database of relevant information for
easy access by development practitioners
• Builds knowledge networks in the RoK

• Centre brings UNDP’s knowledge and experience to
Korean development debates
• shares knowledge on key development reports,
such as the UNDP Human Development Report
