for UNESCO Global Geoparks territories: a holistic approach».
- Responsible for Emilia Romagna aspiring Geopark project 2009-2015
- Project manager in Magma Geopark since 2009.
- Responsible for project applications for EU/no EU funds and for international project.
- Responsible for the geoVR/exhibition centre projects

FUNCTIONS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE MAGMA GEOPARK VISITOR CENTRE
- Engaging local communities – increasing the awareness on the geological and cultural heritage.
- Involving schools- specific packages for experience the storyline with traditional and innovation
tools.
- Increase the Magma Geopark visibility within the local communities and tourist.
- Promote other UNESCO Global Geoparks within the virtual exhibition.

ACTIVITIES OF THE CENTRE
- Services: online virtual exhibition open to the public every day during the summer
- Free leaflets in English and Norwegian
- Educational material- test for schools. On-line booking system.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND EXPERIENCES- centre opened in Nov. 2017
- 500 kids tested the pre pilot project in the Jaren Science Museum
- At least 12 local Upper Secondary schools visited exhibition.
- geoVR presented at the Dalane schools festival
- At least 1600 users explored the geoVR virtual exhibition.

LATENT OR NOT FULLY DEVELOPED CAPACITIES AND CONDITIONS TO EXPRESS THEM
- Lack of space and possibility for displaying more materials/information.
- Location: combination with the Tourist Info Point has both positive and negative sides.
- Lack of visibility.
- Difficulty in display the contents to more visitors.
- Magma will duplicate the experience in the new Science Museum in Jossingfjord, open from 2020.
- Magma participated to the planning of the Science Museum rooms, tools and future experiences
- New centre will support Magma in disseminating the geological and cultural heritage
- More space will be address about Heart history, regional geology, shape of landscape and people.
