Claire talking points -
Shared UAC successes and identified several challenges that Provost Arnett could assist us with
Examples: Competitive Advisor Salaries, PD Funding, Curricular Complexity
Dr. Arnett was impressed by the work of advising and wants to help
Provost connected me with Caroline Agardy. Had a great, productive meeting.

As we get into Progress Reports & Alerts, I wanted to provide an update on some new levels of outreach for Class Absence cases
After you conduct regular outreach on a case, if the student is unresponsive we will open cases with certain campus partners
If the student is an OSP student, we will issue an alert to OSP staff, which will trigger them to perform additional outreach
If the student lives on campus (based on tag in EAB), we will issue an alert to Housing- their RLC will then conduct outreach (knocking on door, etc.)
If the student does not fall into either category there is no additional outreach. If you are still concerned I am happy to talk about options.
NO NEW ACTION REQUIRED FROM YOU- want you to have context
The Orientation CoP held an all-day retreat in December to identify challenges and suggest improvements to advising and registration at NSO
The team generated 60+ improvement ideas!
