The officially announced results from the 18 States and the FCT has the presidential candidate of the APC, General Muhammadu Buhari in the lead by a comfortable margin of about 2,032,226 votes as depicted in the chart below. The total votes accrued to the Presidential Candidates of the APC and the PDP from INEC’s 1st and 2nd Phase of results announced are 8,520,436 and 6,488,210 respectively.

2015 Presidential Election Update
The officially announced results from the 18 States and the FCT has the presidential candidate of the
APC, General Muhammadu Buhari in the lead by a comfortable margin of about 2,032,226 votes as
depicted in the chart below.
The total votes accrued to the Presidential Candidates of the APC and the PDP from INEC’s 1st and
2nd Phase of results announced are 8,520,436 and 6,488,210 respectively.
Based on the Geo-Regional votes cast, the APC Presidential Candidate is in front in three (3) out of
the five (5) Regions with results.
