A brief introduction of Typography, involves basic concepts of typography, which is an essential element of graphic designing.
Learning Typography is a very interesting, you can even make great art work by using text only. Knowledge of typography is very crucial for logo designing, poster designing or banner designing etc.

Transitional ModernOld Style
Transitional typefaces
are a mix between Old
Style and Modern
typefaces. Examples
include Baskerville,

below.
Modern typefaces have
extremely large
variations between thick
and thin lines. These are
good for headlines (as
seen in Vogue, Elle, etc.)

Didot, Bodoni, and
Elephant.
