The CARBOCAP® Technology
 Optical, infra-red measurement technology
 Single-beam, dual-wavelength NDIR technology
 The amount of infrared light passing through the gas is measured at
two discrete wavelengths:
 the absorption wavelength (4.3 µm), where CO2 absorbs strongly
 the reference wavelength (3.9 µm), where CO2 has no absorption

1. Reliability
– Only one light source and one detector - and a tunable
filter - needed
2. Stability
– Tunable filter enables measuring continuously a CO2
signal and a reference signal – ensures a stable
measurement in all conditions
3. Tolerates harsh environments
– Due to internal referencing minimal maintenance in harsh
environments is needed
