The Bayer test is the most important test designated to determine durability of the
surface layers against scratches. In a special testing equipment, lenses are exposed to
intensive bombardment of hard and sharp particles.

a precisely calibrated optical instrument (Haze meter).

COPPER COLOR
One of the most unique properties of
Drivewear is that it is the only
photochromic lens which darkens
behind a car windshield. When it is
exposed to visible light, the lens
shade color changes to copper, which
many drivers find as the most
comfortable color for driving. This
is not surprising, with this shade
color Drivewear lenses block excess
light and provide good traffic
signal recognition.
The light absorption is 75%.
DARK RED-BROWN COLOR
In outdoor conditions, Drivewear lenses are
exposed to ultraviolet and visible light,
which makes the lenses turn to a dark red-
brown color. This color was chosen to
ensure maximum filtration of excess light

blinding flashes. Brown lenses provide
