Program Objective:
The objective of the program is to make the students feel comfortable in their new
environment, open them up, set a healthy daily routine, create bonding in the batch as well as
between faculty and students, develop awareness, sensitivity and understanding of the self,
people around them, society at large, and nature. The time during the Induction Program is
also used to rectify some critical lacunas and sensitize them towards exploring their academic
interest and activities, reducing competition and making them work for excellence, build
relations between teachers and students and overall personality development.

The session-1 commenced with the formal welcoming of the freshers by Dr. Deepika
Kapoor , HOD Department of MLT, UIAHS; With the help of a PowerPoint presentation,
the gathering was introduced to the various programs of MLT, their respective mentors,
faculty members and general orientation about the Institute was.
Session -2

4. Session-2 was commenced by Ms. Shweta, Assistant Professor of MLT, During the
session the students were explained in detail on the various infrastructure, laboratories,
department library, student associations, curricular and extracurricular activities, clubs, their
importance in a student’s life publications and various achievements. The achievements and
the publications of the faculty at national and international levels were the key highlights and
the key highlights for the students.

5. Session-3 commenced by Ms. Shanoo, Assistant Professor of MLT. She introduced about
the topic is addressed initially, and the importance of curricular (like seminar programs,
internships, case studies etc.), co curricular (like debates, group discussions, quizzes, TedX
talks etc.) and extracurricular activities (like dancing, singing, sports etc.) are discussed.
Along with the academic activities, active immersion into co curricular and extra curricular
activities is essential to strengthen the positivity. Necessity of these activities are explained
and its indispensable role in the resume is discussed. Quick video recap of previous activities
is shown. Planning of future activities are discussed and new ideas are taken by interacting
with them. Main agenda of this program is to explore the aptitudes of students in different
activities. To build the positive forte in courage, personality development, team work,
intellectuality forming capabilities and social awareness.

6. Session -4 is commenced by Ms. Shanoo, Assistant Professor MLT, She spoke about the
Entrepreneurial Skills, Personal Qualities of Successful Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneur
functions, Stages of Entrepreneurial Process, Creativity and Innovation in Entrepreneurship
and The Business Plan. She shared her experience with the students. She discuss about the
importance of present knowledge about the preparation towards the Industry needs. It helped
them to gain knowledge on preparing for an interview and to improve skills
