It’s an app built for your cell phone and where do people hang out, right on their phones! 31% are between ages 18-24 30% are between ages 25-34 17% are between ages 35-44 10% 45-54 4% 55-64 It has some amazing new features like Instagram stories, And now with the new announcement of IGTV, it will be giving YouTube a run for it’s money with it’s unique ability to create videos vertical, which is the way we hold our phones! Makes sense right? Strategy #1 – Understand and know your ideal audience At first glance your followers need to know what’s in it for them to follow you. What’s it going to do for their life. How can you help them.
  2. Switching your personal profile to a business profile will only help your social media marketing efforts
  3. With only 150 characters to use in your Instagram bio, it can be difficult to know what to include and what to leave out. Link in your bio should lead them to your HIGH VALUE freebie. If you provide fluff this is a sure fire way that you’ll make a bad impression. And that’s now what we want. What’s going to make you stand out is your content. So make sure it’s of high value. (if someone would pay for it, that’s how you know). The freebie should speak to your ideal client. If you don’t know what your ideal client would want, then I would highly recommend doing some market research so you can be certain how to best help them. Direct link vs linktree The other place where you can share you direct link is through DM. This is fairly new to Instagram rolled out last year, before you were unable to share links with peopl via DM’s. This is yet another opportunity to share your freebie You can also use a link in your stories. Where a viewer can watch your story, while they’re watching they can swipe up that will lead them to any link you want. However, this is only available to those business pages that have 10k follow
