As Project Manager for Data Access Varsha's role at HDR UK is to drive the development and improvement of the Innovation Gateway data access module, supporting the UK Health Data Research Alliance and Data & Connectivity National Core Study team.
After completing her PhD in molecular biology from the University of Leicester, Varsha spent a decade working as biocurator for the Human Genome Project and the Gene Ontology project. Immediately prior to joining HDR UK, Varsha was at Springer Nature where she contributed to the development of services to support research data sharing, and to embed open science practices into publishing workflows.
