2. Event Venue Kaleidoscope – The Fashion Weekend would be held at The Hub, Emporio Mall, New Delhi. Emporio Mall by default is a host to the audience that Kaleidoscope targets. People usually visit Emporio for the purpose of shopping, which is the underlying motivation for any designer to participate The sponsors of our event would also be convinced that the attending audience of the event would be in sync with their TG as well.
3. Kaleidoscope would be a lavish event with some of the most well known names in the industry, who would weave together a weekend to remember through a series of fashion exhibitions by India’s biggest designers, fashion shows, ‘India’s Super Chef’ competition, ‘Be the Live Mannequin’ contest and a gamut of workshops for the attendees.
4. Every Designer brings with himself a distinct culture/attitude representing one of the many states of India. What better place for an amalgamation than Delhi, the heart of India. A city of varied, rich and colorful cultures brought together by people from all over India.
5. Why Delhi? It is the capital city of India The political and economic hub of northern India The city has its historical importance for the fact that it has been the home to Mugal Empire. Delhi, as described by the famous poet MirzaGalib, is ”If the world is body the Delhi is its soul". Over the years, Delhi has always been an important center for cultural activities. Delhi has the advantage of its cosmopolitan society, very multi linguistic and multi cultured.
6. Why Delhi? The City's capital status has amplified the importance of National events and holidays It is one of the fastest growing cities in the world. In a report jointly prepared by Institute for Competitiveness and Confederation of Indian Industry, the city is listed as the best to live in Delhi is the largest commercial center in northern India. 21. Rationale behind clubbing India’s Super Chef with Kaleidoscope Varna Events strongly believes that to leave a long lasting impression on the attendee’s mind, all five senses need to be stimulated during an event. The Hub at Emporio Mall would be unwilling to permit us to serve/sell authentic Indian food due to their yearly contracts with restaurants there. A Super Chef Competition would not only grab eyeballs, get lapped up by the media, but would also ensure that the attendees get to relish authentic food from various states in sync with our exhibition themes.
22. India’s Super Chef Entries from only 5 Star, 5 Star Delux and Heritage Hotels from all over the country would be invited. 25. Be the Live Mannequin Contest Gratification for the designer – Word-of-mouth publicity Instant connect with a larger audience. Clothes displayed on a live mannequin over a fake one has aesthetic benefits. Reach the public through the media (makeover of aspiring models) Gratification for the participants- Immediate fame The clothes/accessories Chance to be featured in various media vehicles. Can also tie up with a media channel and turn it into a live makeover contest.
26. The concept is successful because it benefits everyone involved: not only does it promote the cultures of various states; the designers are provided with a single platform to showcase their collections to their potential customers.
