A roundtable discussion was held with 15 grandparents and 20 grandchildren where they discussed topics like how often grandparents see grandchildren, what activities they enjoy together, why grandchildren prefer digital games over spending time with grandparents, which generation had a happier childhood, what grandparents teach grandchildren, and what qualities each generation admires in the other. Grandparents and grandchildren were also asked about secrets they share and what grandchildren want to learn from grandparents. The closing remarks touched on the sincerity between generations, the increasing role of grandparents in child rearing, and whether a generation gap exists.
