Founded in 1999, The Dreamtek Group rapidly
established itself as a dynamic, innovative and forward-
thinking company that specializes in the delivery of
digital experiences through creative video production,
event production and the development of mobile and
social applications.
Dreamtek’s Talent division was born some 10 years later
as a subsidiary to DTG enabling businesses to gain access
to credible, creative and reliable production staff to help
them deliver their creative visions. Quite simply, our
Talent division delivers enhanced production value
through premium staffing services.
The Dreamtek Academy is an extension of Dreamtek
Talent and has been developed to provide young,
creative and talented individuals a stepping stone into
the AV and Production Industry. By adding the Academy
to our portfolio of Talent services, we can offer our
customers the opportunity to engage with enthusiastic
young people who want to grow, learn and excel in their
field, creating and fuelling innovation for their business.

2013, adopting the National OCR Framework
designed for new entrants into the AV and
Creative Media Industry. The output of our
investment has produced a team of enthusiastic,
dynamic and talented individuals who have
become an invaluable resource to our business.

Apprentices and now have the
expertise and training to extend the
Apprentice Programme to our
customer base, not only supporting
young talent who wish to join the AV
and Creative Media Industry but
offering our customers an economic
talent solution, productivity gain and
improved retention.
What is an Apprenticeship?
13 month contract with
16 - 19 year olds and The
Dreamtek Academy.
A recognised
qualification –OCR
Level 3 Diploma in
Digital Media
1 years work experience
A chance to gain
invaluable,
practical and
technical
experience at an
advanced level,
fast tracking
compared to full
time education.
Relevant work
experience
increasing the
chance of obtaining
full time
employment after
the first year.

What do Dreamtek provide you?
A 16-19 year old full time for 13 months -
4 or 6 days a month is required at
Dreamtek’s training centre in London.

Why do young people now choose an Apprenticeship
over College or University?
In the 2013/14 academic year:
• There were 440,000 apprenticeship starts in England,
70,000 fewer than the previous year.
• The number of starts by people aged 25 and over fell
by 69,000 compared with the previous year.
• The number of starts by people aged 24 and under was
about the same as in 2012/13.
• The majority of apprenticeships were in the service
sectors. Almost three quarters of starts were in three
sectors: business, administration & law; health, public
services & care and retail & commercial enterprise.
• 53% of apprenticeships started were by women
(233,000) and 47% by men (207,000).
University vs Apprenticeships
Between 2009/10 and 2010/11 there was a particularly large increase in the number of apprenticeship starts, much
of it driven by apprentices aged 25 and over.
Fast Forward to 2015, there has been a 52% increase in the number of apprenticeships placed with 670,000
confirmed placements against 440,000 between 2013/2014. Of this amount 400,000 are aged 16-24.
Apprentices, What do you feel were the top benefits to
undertaking your chosen study option?
2,614 young British adults, all of whom had started their first job
prior to completing their apprenticeship or degree within the
past 12 months were quizzed about their first jobs and the
opportunities that were available to them. 1,309 respondents
had previously completed an apprenticeship, whilst 1,305
respondents had graduated from university with a degree.
Initially, all respondents were asked ‘What do
you feel were the top benefits to undertaking
your chosen study option?
When provided with a list of possible
responses and told to select all those applied,
the top five responses amongst those who
had completed an apprenticeship were:
1. Hands-on experience whilst studying - 42%
2. Being able to earn money whilst learning - 34%
3. Being in a working environment - 21%
4. No debt at the end of it - 16%
5. Getting a taste for whether or not the career was for me

Have you got something in mind? We can tailor our Apprenticeship training to
your requirement as long as it is within our training guidelines.
• 13 month contract for Apprentices
• Minimum of 16 days per month
working at customer location
• Between 4-6 Days apprentice training
per month delivered by Dreamtek
• 16-18 year old £12,500 per annum
• 19 year old £16,500 per annum
• Travel costs for attending training are
covered by the customer
Commercials
What happens after the Apprenticeship?
At the end of the apprenticeship, the Customer can retain the individual via a managed service
with Dreamtek negating balloon payment.
After completion and
qualification ( 13

  • 4. Dreamtek began working with Apprentices in 2013, adopting the National OCR Framework designed for new entrants into the AV and Creative Media Industry. The output of our investment has produced a team of enthusiastic, dynamic and talented individuals who have become an invaluable resource to our business. Apprenticeship Scheme Background We have drawn on our experiences in developing and working with Apprentices and now have the expertise and training to extend the Apprentice Programme to our customer base, not only supporting young talent who wish to join the AV and Creative Media Industry but offering our customers an economic talent solution, productivity gain and improved retention.
  • 5. What is an Apprenticeship? 13 month contract with 16 - 19 year olds and The Dreamtek Academy. A recognised qualification –OCR Level 3 Diploma in Digital Media 1 years work experience A chance to gain invaluable, practical and technical experience at an advanced level, fast tracking compared to full time education. Relevant work experience increasing the chance of obtaining full time employment after the first year.

  • 7. What do Dreamtek provide you? A 16-19 year old full time for 13 months - 4 or 6 days a month is required at Dreamtek’s training centre in London.   • 11. Why do young people now choose an Apprenticeship over College or University? In the 2013/14 academic year: • There were 440,000 apprenticeship starts in England, 70,000 fewer than the previous year. • The number of starts by people aged 25 and over fell by 69,000 compared with the previous year. • The number of starts by people aged 24 and under was about the same as in 2012/13. • The majority of apprenticeships were in the service sectors. Almost three quarters of starts were in three sectors: business, administration & law; health, public services & care and retail & commercial enterprise. • 53% of apprenticeships started were by women (233,000) and 47% by men (207,000). University vs Apprenticeships Between 2009/10 and 2010/11 there was a particularly large increase in the number of apprenticeship starts, much of it driven by apprentices aged 25 and over. Fast Forward to 2015, there has been a 52% increase in the number of apprenticeships placed with 670,000 confirmed placements against 440,000 between 2013/2014. Of this amount 400,000 are aged 16-24.

Apprentices, What do you feel were the top benefits to undertaking your chosen study option? 2,614 young British adults, all of whom had started their first job prior to completing their apprenticeship or degree within the past 12 months were quizzed about their first jobs and the opportunities that were available to them. 1,309 respondents had previously completed an apprenticeship, whilst 1,305 respondents had graduated from university with a degree. Initially, all respondents were asked ‘What do you feel were the top benefits to undertaking your chosen study option? When provided with a list of possible responses and told to select all those applied, the top five responses amongst those who had completed an apprenticeship were: 1. Hands-on experience whilst studying - 42% 2. Being able to earn money whilst learning - 34% 3. Being in a working environment - 21% 4. No debt at the end of it - 16% 5.   • 14. • 13 month contract for Apprentices • Minimum of 16 days per month working at customer location • Between 4-6 Days apprentice training per month delivered by Dreamtek • 16-18 year old £12,500 per annum • 19 year old £16,500 per annum • Travel costs for attending training are covered by the customer Commercials
  • 15. What happens after the Apprenticeship? At the end of the apprenticeship, the Customer can retain the individual via a managed service with Dreamtek negating balloon payment. After completion and qualification ( 13 months) Apprentice is released from programme and available for direct employment Customer pays a balloon fee to retain the Apprentice with no further support from Dreamtek Tier 1 (16-18 year old) £2k balloon payment Tier 2 (19 year old) £3k balloon payment
