- 1. ALLPETSALLVETS PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A MOBILE APP THAT ENABLES PET PARENTS TO FIND ADEQUATE AND APPROPRIATE PRIMARY CARE FOR ALL SPECIES OF PETS.

- 3. PROBLEMSTATEMENT Pet parents struggle to find a suitable veterinarian for their pets and need a more efficient and accessible way to find adequate and knowledgeable veterinarians.

- 5. INTERVIEWPLAN Task 1: Create a Google Survey and share on our social platforms and aim to have 30-40 participants. Task 2: Conduct 5 user interviews about 10-20 mins each to pet owners. Notes: * We developed our interview and survey questions through a collaborative effort between all three team members and their pain points about bringing their pets to the vets. * Our targeted user group is pet owners of all species. * We will interview users with unusual pets (farm animals, exotics, avian, pocket pets, special needs pets etc.) * We will also include interviews with typical pet types
- 6. HypothesisStatement We believe there is a dire need for all pet parents to have adequate care for their pets. This starts with finding appropriate veterinarians for every type of pet. For years, the veterinarian industry has been catered to canines leaving little room for other animals. We believe parents of other species have an extremely difficult time finding a knowledgeable veterinarian.

- 22. FINALTAKEAWAYS This application seems very essential but very labor intensive to execute. It would also require a lot of “education” on our end as this would be a brand new way to find veterinarians. It would also require “us” to educate veterinarians on why price transparency is actually good/ beneficial to their practice. It would take a lot of convincing to have veterinarians be public about their pricing The hardest part about actually bringing All Pets All Vets to fruition would be the “man hours” it would take to enter all of the veterinarian information. - Not all of Veterinarian’s information that is online is up to date. A person would have to call every practice individually and confirm accurate information. - Many mobile veterinarians are not listed online. They usually are word of mouth only. DVMs constantly come and go from practices, most practice managers do not have the time to report when they’ve lost or gained a DVM. Although this application is a wonderful concept and technically could be obtainable, it seems very out of reach for a few reasons:
- 23. GROUPTAKEAWAYS We thoroughly enjoyed working with one another. Although none of us have any prior design experience, we felt as if we really merged our strengths and presented our first piece confidently. It was a very intense learning process, but it also felt very unique. We were the only group that did not get to choose our teammates and we all feel as if we benefited from that aspect.
